The Head of the Catholic Brothers Order, Brother Casper, conveyed his warm appreciation to the CEO and staff of Ela Motors Wewak for sponsoring Boys Town College with grass cutting equipment and personal protective equipment on Friday 16th April 2021, in Wewak.
Ela Motors Chief Executive Officer, Mr Mitsuyoshi Okutsu, generously approved the sponsorship of the grass cutting equipment with personal protective equipment to the college during his 2020 dealership visit to Wewak. Brother Casper said this is the second donation the institution has received from a Japanese owned company since 1998 and is very grateful for the support.
Boys Town College was established by the Catholic Church and is run by the Sacred Heart Brothers Order of Wewak Diocese as a juvenile and rehabilitation centre. With the growing demand in the tourism industry, the institution diverted its course into a tourism destination drawing attention from the Provincial Government and Tourism Authorities on its spectacular view of Wewak Town, surrounding islands and the WWII relics on site.
This sponsorship items will support the Catholic Brothers in keeping the institution lawns and Japanese WWII memorial site clean and well maintained.
