Ela Motors donates K51 000.00 to the St Mary’s Hospital-Vunapope Children’s ward.

Residents of Kokopo, East New Britain Province can now anticipate improved health services from the St Mary’s Hospital-Vunapope following a recent donation of K51 000.00 from Ela Motors.

This donation was made possible through the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility Assistance Program to fund the maintenance and refurbishment of the hospital’s children’s ward, ablution block and the nursing care area.

Despite the current challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, Ela Motors stands firm in supporting state and private health facilities around the country in promoting a healthy and conducive work environment for healthcare workers to provide essential health services to the people and communities.

The Kokopo Dealership Manager James Moveh presented the cheque highlighting Ela Motors’ support to St Mary’s Hospital.

He further emphasized the company’s vision of St Mary’s Hospital-Vunapope to prioritize the renovation of the Children’s Wards. Ela Motors believes that this donation will go a long way in improving the lives of many children by creating a conducive environment in the hospital for the children and their guardians.

The St Mary’s Hospital Administrator Albert Seri expressed great thanks to Ela Motors for the critical assistance to aid Kokopo’s dire need through funding of better health facilities to cater for its growing population.
