The Operation, Open Heart Foundation, Receives Mobility Support

The Operation Open Heart Foundation Chairlady, Kathrine Johnson, has commended Ela Motors for donating a brand-new Toyota Hiace 15-seater bus on Friday, June 02nd, in Port Moresby.

Sponsoring a vehicle for a health program can significantly impact the staff as it can also benefit the hospital by increasing visibility and awareness in and around the community.

Ms, Johnson noted that this support would greatly assist the foundation in partnering with the Port Moresby General Hospital and Kumul Petroleum Holdings Ltd to continue to deliver and facilitate the open-heart program.

“Open-heart operations have become one of the successful programs because of partners like Ela Motors and others who continue to contribute their resources and finances towards saving lives of children with congenital heart defects throughout the country”.

Ela Motors National Marketing Manager Benjamin Niligur stated that through its Corporate Social Responsibility program, the company acknowledged the significance of this program and has offered mobility support with the hope that it can go a long way in saving lives.
