Cheshire Signs Volunteer Partnership MoU with L&D Department

Cheshire disAbility Services PNG Inc. (CDS) is a charity organization that provides disability inclusion services to individuals with special needs in the National Capital District and parts of the Central province. CDS relies heavily on its sponsors, particularly businesses in the country, who provide cash and in-kind donations to deliver its programs and maintain its operations.
On Wednesday, 21st February, a volunteer MoU was signed between CDS and the Ela Motors Learning & Development Department, paving the way for the cadets and apprentices to volunteer with CDS.
Additionally, these volunteers will participate in events such as the International Day for Persons with Disabilities, allowing them to appreciate vulnerable groups in their communities and the need for collective support for their livelihoods.
This event is a significant step towards creating a more inclusive society. CDS General Manager Benson Hahambu also expressed his appreciation for the partnership with Ela Motors.
With the support of businesses like Ela Motors, CDS can continue to provide much-needed services to persons with special needs and work towards building a more inclusive and supportive community.
