Ela Motors Funds St Theresa Elementary & Primary School’s Ablution Block

Ela Motors funded the renovation of St. Theresa’s Elementary and Primary School’s ablution block. The upgraded block, which was officially opened on March 8th, now boasts modern facilities such as new toilets and sinks. This will undoubtedly improve the hygiene and sanitation of the school, providing a more comfortable learning environment for students.

The company donated K119, 495.00 through its Corporate Social Responsibility Assistance Program, which supported the maintenance and refurbishment of the school. The refurbished ablution block was a much-needed improvement for the school, which had been operating without proper toilet facilities for years.

In addition to that the school will receive a donation of 20 computers later as a contribution to the school’s mission of providing quality education to the children in the area.

Ela Motors COO – Corporate, Mr. Eymard Joseph and COO – Retail Mr. Ashley Huston, along with National Facilities Development Manager Adam Boland, were present at the opening ceremony.

Mr. Eymard Joseph highlighted the company’s commitment to the community where it operates as a business. “On behalf of the management and staff of Ela Motors, we are privileged to be part of the development of this school”. The event was a celebration of the school’s commitment to providing quality education, and the improved facilities and resources will have a positive impact on the students’ education.

Head Teacher Mr. Manu presented bilums, fresh garden produce, and a pig to Ela Motors as a token of appreciation for their contribution to the school. The official opening of the new ablution block was a significant milestone for the school and the community.
