Ela Motors PNG Awards the 17th TDCAC World Contest Best Finalist Winner

Theodore Allen Aoae, a 14-year-old artist from Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, recently achieved international recognition for his artwork.

His creation, the Germ Mobile Terminator, triumphed in the 17th Toyota Dream Car World Art Contest, earning him the title of Best Finalist Winner in Category 3 (ages 12-15). Along with this prestigious title, Theodore was awarded $3,000 intended for educational purposes and an Award Certificate Shield from Toyota Motor Corporation.

The award ceremony took place at Ela Motors Badili Showroom in Port Moresby, where Theodore was honored in the presence of Ela Motors – CEO Masaru Mikami, contest judges, Fine Artist & Creative Art Director – Gazellah Bruder, Learning & Development Manager – Ben Johnson, and other esteemed guests.

Mr. Mikami commended Theodore for his exceptional creativity, particularly highlighting the health-oriented theme of the artwork. Theodore’s winning entry, the Germ Mobile Terminator, is a vehicle designed to combat and eradicate health diseases.

Mr. Mikami expressed his pride in having an artist from Papua New Guinea win the global competition, making Theodore the second artist from his country to achieve this recognition.

The Toyota Dream Car Art Contest has continued to provide a platform for young artists around the world to showcase their creativity and imagination. This year, the contest received 712,845 entries from 90 countries and regions which proved to be a great success and serve as a beacon of hope for the future of art and design.
